It’s hard to believe that we are 5 years into the Gravelstoke project. What started as a simple idea to inspire cyclists through community, photography, and story telling, has grown into something that’s often hard to grasp. We continue to host rides in San Diego, collaborate with likeminded brands, travel and explore new places by bike, attend grassroots events, write thoughtful gear reviews, and grow a diverse North American gravel team. One of most enjoyable annual traditions however, is the kit. Every year since 2018 we have worked with a local company that assembles our kits right here in San Diego. And while we could work with other companies in this crowded space, or even attempt to manufacture our own kits offshore, it really is a pleasure to work with a California-based company that makes exceptional apparel for the gravel application.
Gravelstoke Kit 6.0
This year we were thrilled to work with one of our Dev Team riders, Danny Geary, who brought his extensive experience in apparel design at companies including Volcom and Roark to the 6.0 kit project. For 2023, we pulled inspiration from the outdoors, while staying true to the bright feel of Gravelstoke designs in the past. Mixing dark with light, we pulled familiar colors leveraged in past seasons, and created our most streamlined design yet for a clean look. The Gravelstoke Kit 6.0 features bold blues, adventure inspired greens, and a pop of yellow. Essential colors include Army Green, Kelp Blue, and Mustard Yellow, together with a Midnight Blue bib short.
